July 1, 2022 (New York, NY) – Drexel Hamilton, Wall Street’s only 100% military Veteran owned and operated investment bank, today announced the promotion of Melissa Fay to Head of Capital Markets.

Veteran and CEO of Drexel Hamilton. Melissa will take over both the Debt and Equity primary issuance businesses for Drexel Hamilton Capital Markets group.

Melissa is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served for 9 years on active duty as a Navy helicopter pilot. She deployed twice to the Middle East with the Navy’s Fifth Fleet and US Naval Forces Central Command in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Upon returning to the states, Melissa completed her MBA at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business. Her Wall Street resume includes working within GE Capital’s Corporate Treasury department and Credit Suisse’s equity derivatives desk.

Women veterans represent about half of 1% of the overall population of America. Melissa has demonstrated throughout her career in the Navy and on Wall Street principal leadership that has brought success to the bottom line. She will now take her diverse skill set and apply it to the Drexel Hamilton’s commitment to provide preeminent banking services while staying committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities for service-disabled veterans in the field of finance.
