As part of Women’s History Month, we are celebrating our women Veterans here at Drexel Hamilton. Today we highlight Drexel Hamilton Director of Debt Capital Markets and Navy Veteran, Melissa Fay. A United States Naval Academy graduate, Melissa served as a Navy pilot flying the UH-3H Sea King helicopter and deploying overseas twice to Bahrain. Active duty for nearly a decade, Melissa spent her last few years as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of California, Berkeley where she was a Navy ROTC instructor. In addition to earning an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, Melissa has an MBA from University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Melissa is currently on the board of the Veteran Advocacy Project, an organization that provides legal assistance to low-income Veterans and their families. She also enjoys serving as a mentor to women Veterans for a career in Finance. It is a true privilege to work with Melissa. Today and everyday we honor her service both in and outside of the cloth of our nation. Please press play below or here.
