February 25, 2022 — To close out Black History Month this year, we are remembering the all-Black 369th Infantry Regiment, the Harlem Hellfighters, who heroically battled German forces and racism during World War I. They spent nearly 200 days at the front under enemy fire – more than any other American unit – without losing one soldier to capture nor losing one foot of ground to the enemy.

To all our Black service members, from those who fought in the American Revolution, to our very own distinguished Black Veterans here at Drexel Hamilton, and those presently deploying to Eastern Europe – WE SALUTE YOU.
